Item # ECU 2, Portable Containment Unit, Mintie

List Price QUOTE

The industry leading the Mintie ECU2 is a collapsible, portable solution for temporary containment of airborne particulates during normal facility operation or isolation during a public health emergency. A modular multi-functional design helps organizations maximize their return on investment, the ECU2 can be used for routine wall and ceiling based repair or renovation of cavity and plenum in addition to surge capacity (individual) and mass isolation. In addition to combined ceiling and wall based access points for maximum functionality, a 30% bigger footprint easily accommodates larger ladders and equipment. Single person set up is still only 15 minutes with a small collapsed footprint for easy transportation and storage. Modular configuration enables multiple units to be joined together for very large containment and staging areas or the creation of large anterooms. Plastic sheeting and poles will no longer suffice with more stringent industry guidelines and regulations for controlling airborne contaminants. The ECU2 is a superior product to both plastic and poles and competitive standardized containment units due to its innovative design and ease of use, ability to perform a variety of containment applications with one product and ability to create much larger containment areas by joining multiple units together. Durability and increased efficiency also create long-term cost savings. Use to protect sensitive healthcare environments from airborne contaminants during ceiling cavity projects such as IT cabling, electrical, plumbing, firewall activities or for wall penetration projects. The unit also meets CDC guidelines for the temporary conversion of standard patient rooms to Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms (AIIR) and can be used as airlock/anteroom for construction areas or to create larger scale mass patient isolation. The ECU2 has been clinically tested by hospital environmental specialists to ensure safe and effective use in a healthcare setting. A wide range of HEPA filtered Negative Air Machines are available to match the cfm and filtration requirements of a given space.
